Working in the new studio, fantastic to have this space, built by hand (mine), hammer and nails, learnt a lot, I’ll never stop up plaster again… Good experience, very rewarding, even more so now that I am able to make use of it. The walls wear the marks of creative expression as each piece develops, a historical document in it’s own right? I think I might be getting a little carried away now…

The build

Small but effective…

Been a while and I have not been in the water for what seems like a really long time… Exhibiting art, selling and buying a house, moving, painting and of course keeping business on track. Hopefully things will be a little more on track soon, with a new bub on the way, due mid Feb they will need to be!

Probably looks like it’s almost done, there are still a few things I want to take further and I really need to revisit the sea floor as it’s just not doing it for me at the moment…

…with my art making
pro⋅lif⋅ic
- producing in large quantities or with great frequency; highly productive: a prolific writer.
- profusely productive or fruitful (often fol. by in or of): a bequest prolific of litigations.
- characterized by abundant production: a prolific year for tomatoes.
Hard to achieve in a busy life but something I must do.

The power was out for 6 hours so we had candles and torches out, add into the mix a digital SLR and some boredom…
