Amazing photos of waves, sounds like a cliché but they’re actually fairly remarkable: www.clarklittlephotography.com

A pretty time consuming process, but an interesting result?

I need to become pro⋅lif⋅ic

…with my art making

pro⋅lif⋅ic

  1. producing in large quantities or with great frequency; highly productive: a prolific writer.
  2. profusely productive or fruitful (often fol. by in or of): a bequest prolific of litigations.
  3. characterized by abundant production: a prolific year for tomatoes.

Hard to achieve in a busy life but something I must do.

CG Art? I think this is…

As a general rule I don’t get a lot out of computer generated art. Some of it is amazing but a lot of Photoshop airbrushing brings the whole scene down, it sure as hell isn’t accepted by the art world as ‘art’ but that’s not saying a great deal… Give it 10, maybe 20 years and I’m sure there will be a place for it in the ‘art’ world…

Interesting concept – a real talking point if nothing else “what happened to your board man?”

Had a radical paddle at 13th yesterday arvo, a couple of reforms on the inside were pealing through ok but the odd clean up set kept things interesting…

Good for surf fitness if nothing else.

Autumn is good

Nice clean waves around over the last couple of weeks as mentioned. The run has come to a bit of an end but hopefully not for long.

bag of tricks…

Didn’t think retro boards went this well, maybe they do when you really rip? Shamelessly pinched from Surfy Surfy! It was too good not to.

Pro surfer Eli Mirandon breaks down his air he did on his retro fish that he shaped himself.

Autumn is here, with some waves

In general a good time for waves, Rippy pro and all. We are right into the thick of it now and conditions have been fun, light wind and a little swell, not epic by any proprtion but good fun. Nice to say good bye to summer surf and hello to some quality. Hope it keeps up!
